The Associated Press: Quake in western China kills 400, buries more

I haven’t done any research to find out if the trend in these higher magnitude earthquakes happens every so often, or if this is something new that the planet is experiencing. If anyone knows, please post and mention where you found your information.
My heart goes out to the people of China, and I will keep them in my thoughts.
