What an unusual novel! Stephen King did not disappoint. Read and see what happens to kids who are special and have unusual abilities, in a place that is a mystery and cruel. Excellent read, by King. Fans will be happy with this one.

Imaginary Friend by Stephen Chbosky

Stephen’s book started out great! There was a definite horror novel throughout. I loved it until the end. The end seemed contrived, and rushed. It didn’t ruin the book for me though, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Worth the read.

The Daughter of Zion by Elicia Hyder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I absolutely love how Elicia spins her tales. Through the whole series, she hooked us from the first page, and made us care for (and hate) the characters she brings to life. Always an emotional roller coaster, but always worth it in the end. This end is the end of this series, but not the end of the characters stories. I’m excited to see what’s next.

She Has A Broken Thing Where Her Heart Should Be by J.D. Barker

Fantastic!
JD Barker has never let me down. He had me hooked and invested within 30 mins. I love how he builds a story and then takes us on an intense roller coaster ride. Wonderfully different, and imaginative. Please read this book!

The Soul Destroyer by Elicia Hyder

This is crazy good, and may be my favorite in the series so far. It’s the only urban fantasy series I still read.
The others fantasy series are the same types of characters doing the same types of things, nothing original, especially to those of us who read 50 to 100 books a year.
The Soul Summoner series is totally original, and I promise that if urban fantasy is your jam, you will LOVE Elicia Hyders’s books.
