Review: Behind Her Eyes

Behind Her Eyes
Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It’s easy to see why there is a comparison to Girl on the Train and Gone Girl. Behind Her Eyes is told in the same manner. Chapters come from different people, and from their point of view. What isn’t the same as either of those is the way it ends. Not the way it twists at the end, but the EXTRA twist at the VERY end. I’d figured it out just over halfway through, but I didn’t take it far enough. I absolutely love that this had me fooled. It’s hard to do when I read as much as I do, and Sara Pinborough got me good! Great story, deep characters, and excellent narration by Anna Bentinck, Josie Dunn, Bea Holland, and Huw Parmenter.
