Flash by Donna Ball
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The problem with audiobooks is that if the person reading has a monotone voice, it can be hard for them to show emotion in the characters they’re reading. I’m going to guess that this is why the narrator read as she did, and not because she’s just bad.

With that being said, the story itself was not bad, I liked it. I would listen to another in this series, with a different narrator that is. The dog in the story is lovable, as is the main character. The mystery was a good one, and grew quite intense as the story came to its climax. I recommend the book, not the audiobook, however.
