The Life We Bury by Allen Eskens
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I only read this book because it was given to me in a book exchange. I used one of my audible credits so I could listen as I read. Before the first chapter was over the Narrator had me thoroughly engrossed. He was so amazing, and the story was so interesting that I listened nonstop and finished it in one day.
The story is more than one type of story. It’s more than the story of Mr Iverson. It’s a story about perception. Perception of ourselves and each other, and the assumptions we make.
It’s a terrific book, excellent writing, and spot on narration. Read it, better still, listen to it.
